Mission Trip

This is an opportunity to dedicate a few days of your summer to serving low-income families, the disabled, and the elderly. TFCA Youth will be partnering with Son Servants and a local agency, Panther Christian Outreach to do projects such as scraping and painting, repairs, yard work, and building wheelchair ramps.
The cost of $695 includes a place to stay, food during our service days, and transportation to and from WV. Students must attend the car wash on May 11 in order to be eligible for financial assistance. The Youth Staff will also help provide opportunities to raise money through the car wash and other fundraising opportunities.
Registration and a $200 non-refundable deposit are due by April 15th.The remaining cost of $495 will be due through fundraising or through your own payment by July 8.

Crossroads Tune-Up

Tune Up meets every Sunday morning from 9-10:30 am in either the cafeteria at Bishop O'Connell High School or the Black Box Room at Kenmore Middle School (depending on where TFCA worships on Sunday). Bring $$ for breakfast (optional). We begin as a large group and then split by gender for time in the Word.

Crossroads Grate Patrol

Want to help serve the homeless breakfast in DC? Our next Grate Patrol opportunity is Saturday morning, April 20 (last one till fall). Please email Eric Garner to participate. Drop off is at 4:50 am in the back parking lot of the 150 S. Washington Street, Falls Church, 22046. Pick up at 10am.

Each Tuesday night our 80+ volunteer leaders known as the Youth Family gather for dinner, fellowship, teaching, and training. Salad/bread or dessert to be dropped off by 6pm at the Youth Ministry office:

Cornerstone Dinner Servers Sign Up

We need 3-4 parents each Sunday night to help serve Cornerstone dinner from 6-7:15 pm at Cherrydale Baptist Church, 3910 Lorcom Lane, Arlington. It entails helping setting up and serving food (like pizza, Chipotle, or subs). If you are interested, please email Preston Hansen.

| |  Come get your hike on! Adventure galore, combined with an exciting treasure hunt. Saturday, April 13th, Crossroads is going hiking to find hidden treasure on the Billy Goat Trail. 2PM - Meet at the Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center, 11710 MacArthur Blvd, Potomac, MD 20854 Wear good shoes and bring a water bottle. The cost is $5 per vehicle entrance to the park, so carpooling is a great idea. We'll leave the visitor center promptly at 2:15 so please be on time! 4:00PM Pick up - SAME LOCATION. |

| |  Stressed? Anxious? Depressed? All 7th-12th grade girls are invited to a night of open discussion about anxiety, stress, and depression.
Whether these are your struggles or struggles of a friend, this night will help you understand these feelings betters and hear how God responds to them. Hear from a licensed counselor, have a chance to ask your questions, talk with peers, and read examples of stress, anxiety, and depression in the Bible.

Help Model Service for a Student
How do students learn to be Christlike in a way that will impact them over the long haul? Having relationships with adults in the church is a major contributing factor in an adolescents propensity of pursuing Christ beyond high school. Would you help by serving on Sunday morning alongside a student? The following number of people are needed each Sunday for each responsibility. Could you or your small group help one Sunday a month? Once a semester? If you can help send an email. We'd love to pair you up with some students to tackle a task!!

| |  If you are a High School Senior or the parent of one, please reserve the evening of May 21 to attend the Senior Banquet. It is a special dinner honoring the graduates. Invitations will be sent and RSVPs are required (for obvious reasons.) Additionally, start looking for a baby/toddler picture now that we could use for our special slide show.
