These hour-long phone-based sessions are provided courtesy of WellMed Charitable Foundation, and are designed to connect family caregivers to experts with helpful information and other caregivers, with needed emotional, educational and social support. The sessions can be accessed from anywhere via your phone: no need to get dressed up, find transportation, or get a sitter.

"Understanding the Stages of Dementia" with Tam Cummings, MS.   
Tam Cummings This frequently requested topic focuses on how to track the dementia process. Using her innovative Dementia Behavioral Assessment Tool, which is based in part on Reisberg's Global Deterioration Scale, Tam explains ow to match specific patient behaviors, as well as how long each stage is estimated to last, is critical in helping medical professionals and family members prepare for the next phase of the disease.
