San Antonio Area Caregiver SOS Program Staff Changes

Important changes in Caregiver SOS Program Managers have been announced by Carol Zernial, Executive Director of the WellMed Charitable Foundation (WCF).

Rita Avendano, who was headquartered at the Northern Hills Caregiver SOS Center, has accepted a position with another local organization.

"We want to thank Rita for her numerous contributions to the Caregiver SOS program and serving Family Caregivers in the San Antonio area. We wish her well in her new position," Zernial stated.

Transferring to this position is Gloria Miranda, Program Manager (PM) of Caregiver SOS at the Harlingen Senior Center. Her move is effective September 2.

During the interim period, Joye McQueen, PM at the Lopez Senior Center, will handle events scheduled in the San Antonio area.

Below is a photo and biography of Gloria Miranda.
