Chalk Paint™ Decorative Paint is Annie Sloan paint. Annie Sloan developed her now famous Chalk Paint™ Decorative Paint, in 1990. Back then, there was no paint available with the properties Annie was looking for, so she decided to develop her own. She came to choose the name "Chalk Paint" because it was suggestive of its very matte-almost chalky-finish.

Chalk Paint™ Decorative Paint sticks to just about any surface (wood, concrete, metal, matte plastic, varnished or painted surfaces, etc.) with no priming or sanding required. Use it's companion product Annie Sloan Soft Wax for a durable and approachable finish for your interior furniture and the dark Soft Wax for decorative age and patina.

Annie Sloan has chosen her palette of colors carefully. They range from soft, pale hues to bright, vivid tones reminiscent of historic European décor as well as strong 20th Century colors. The colors have been expertly chosen to meet every taste. They are rich and strong so they may be lightened, mixed together, dulled with Dark Wax or used as washes without losing their intensity and depth.

We will also be stocking Annie Sloan loose leaf, brushes, decoupage, craqueleur and many more items that you will need in order for you to begin creating beautiful finishes.
