Dear GAIS Parents,
Thank you all for your tremendous support in the last few weeks. There are a lot of parents and staff, as well as specialists involved in a variety of tasks and we are extremely grateful for their great help.
As we are moving forward please find very important information below:

GENERAL
1. MPCSD Meeting - April 9, 2013, 6:00pm
Please come and join us at the Regular MPCSD Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 6:00pm at the District Board Room located at 181 Encinal Avenue, Atherton, CA 94027! The MPCSD Board will decide this evening whether to terminate its lease partnership with GAIS. Your presence is important and very much appreciated.
If you can, please carpool as parking spaces are limited! Additional parking is available in the neighborhood on Felton Drive.
We will all meet at the MPCSD at 6:00pm (only speakers and GAIS staff will meet first at GAIS at 5:00pm).
2. Annual Fund and Parent Participation - Thank you!
We would like to thank all parents for donating and supporting our Annual Fund 2013. Thanks to all of you, we could reach 90% Parent Participation up until today! 3. GAIS Petition - more than 1'000 supporters!
 Thanks to the online petition as well as the statement of support (signed by neighbors in the Willows and adjacent neighborhoods), we have collect more than 1'000 signed petitions! This great result will be presented to the MPCSD Board at their meeting on April 9, 2013.

5. Used Book Sale - April 11, 2013
The library will conduct their used book sale on Thursday, April 11, between 1 - 4pm in front of the school. If you still want to donate books please drop them off at the Library during Library hours. It's not too late to clean out your bookshelves and make room for new ones! We will sell german, english, kids, youth and adult books.
6. Spring Break - April 15 - 19, 2013
Spring Break will take place from April 15 - April 19, 2013. If you are interested in signing-up for Hort during Spring Break (April 15 - 19) and/or In-Service-Day (April 22) please send an e-mail, including exact dates and times, to Maike Silver at msilver@gais.org.
