GENERAL
1. Re-Enrollment School Year 2013/14 - update
The re-enrollment links for the new School Year 2013/14 will be sent out next Monday, February 4, 2013. Parents will be allowed enough time for re-enrollment.
2. EC Program Spring 2013 - update on sign-ups
To access the weekly overview of the Extra Curricular Program Spring 2013 click here. Please be advised that we are currently still following a lead for a tennis teacher. We will inform the concerned families about the result in the next couple of days.
- "Music Together" is a new program offered to families in the Pre-School and Vorschule. If you would like to check it out with your child, please come for a free demo to the Aquarium Room on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00pm.
- The "School Choir" is looking for more participants as well.

3. Annual Fund - opening this week!
As already announced, we are going to open our GAIS Annual Fund on January 31, 2013. The main goal is to collect funds which provide resources necessary to:
 - Recruit and retain teachers of the highest caliber
- Enhance the academic program at GAIS
- Bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual expense of a GAIS education.
You will be receiving a separate information email about the Annual Fund this week. For more general information please go to GAIS Annual Fund. Important: do not forget to ask your employer about a possible matching program!

UPCOMING EVENTS
5. Members Meeting & Board Meeting: January 31, 2013
The next Members Meeting and first Board Meeting of the year 2013 will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 and will start at 7:30 pm in the Gym. The Board Meeting will start at 9:00pm as a closed session. Please attend the Members Meeting and vote for the new board members (or put your vote into the sealed vote box at the office of GAIS).
6. GAIS Stammtisch: February 7, 2013
The next GAIS Stammtisch will take place on Thursday, February 7, 2013, 7:00 pm at Gourmethaus Staudt in Redwood City.
7. Winter Break: February 18 - February 22, 2013
School will be closed from February 18 - February 22, 2013. There will be no classes. Nevertheless, Hort will be offered during this week. If you are interested in Hort please send an email to Maike Silver at msilver@gais.org with FULL NAME of student and exact days/time of which you want to have Hort for your child. First come - first serve!
