Medicaid, CHIP and Exchanges Proposed Rule:
There is now less than eight months before the start-up of enrollment into the healthcare reform programs. The federal Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services are sending a steady stream of rules to the states so the states are able, in turn, to make their own decisions and rules. Before the rules are final, however, they must be submitted to us for our comments. These rules regarding eligibility notices and Medi-Cal cost sharing are likely to be of particular interest to readers.
