UUCF Covenant Groups are groups of 8-10 people, led by a trained facilitator, that explore issues and beliefs in a spiritual context. Through Covenant Groups, many UUCFers have made deep connections. Training explains the facilitator role and provides extensive opportunities for role-playing and coaching. All are welcome; you don't need to commit in advance to being a facilitator. To participate, please contact Rev. Laura Horton-Ludwig. Donations sought for food packs. The 2s-5s Summer RE class will create food packs for a Food for Others program that provides elementary school-aged children with food to eat over the weekend. Many children in our area have little or no food to eat between lunch at school on Friday and breakfast at school on Monday morning. The pack contains two items each for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus two snacks and two drinks. Our goal is for the class to create 40 bags, which will allow each child to assemble two packs. Click here to see the one item we still need and sign up to provide it. Drop off food donations to any RE class no later than this Sunday, Aug. 17.
