OES parking tips
Many Sundays we reach capacity in the Oakton Elementary School parking lot. Instead of driving around frustrated, follow these parking tips: - Come early!
- Keep our visitors, newcomers and mobility challenged friends in mind. Leave spaces for them by parking behind the school on Miller Road or in the PNC Bank lot. It's an easy walk.
- For latecomers, go directly to tip #2!
- If you're trying to minimize the time you spend in the hard OES auditorium seats by arriving late, feel free to bring a cushion and ... see tip #1!

Donations sought for food packs. The 2s-5s Summer RE class will create food packs for a Food for Others program that provides elementary school-aged children with food to eat over the weekend. Many children in our area have little or no food to eat between lunch at school on Friday and breakfast at school on Monday morning. The pack contains two items each for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus two snacks and two drinks. Our goal is for the class to create 40 bags, which will allow each child in the class to assemble two packs. Click here to see a list of needed items and sign up to provide them. Drop off food donations to any RE class between now and Aug. 17.
