up to age 3.

June's worship theme
is Rhythm.
"... [T]he earlier bards and minstrels knew ... the close connection between music and religion. Both have at their heart rhythm. To move with this is to be in tune, literally, with one's self and the
world; to lose it is to
get cross-grained, to
find alienation and disharmony."

- from Every Earthly Blessing: Rediscovering the Celtic Tradition by Esther de Waal

recipient for June is
Globe Aware's
Romania project
. Donations fund volunteer projects
that improve living conditions for residents of Brasov, Romania,
who live in poverty - particularly the marginalized ethnic Roma population.

Winter Gathering feedback. Last winter more than 250 members and friends attended Winter Gatherings held near your neighborhoods. At these events you shared with our ministers, lay leaders and each other feedback on your feelings about UUCF. You told us ways you've grown since coming to UUCF, ways you're hoping to grow, how UUCF could help in this process and offered other suggestions. A summary of the written feedback from the gatherings has been compiled and you can take a look at it here. Your feedback affirmed the direction we have been going as a congregation and the new strategic plan that we hope to finalize next fall. Many thanks to all who participated.

Register online now for RE classes this summer and/or fall. Why now? We need to create attendance lists, allergy lists and let teachers know who will be in their classes. Teachers meet over the summer so it's helpful for them to have this information.

Click here to find out about opportunities to live our values through service and advocacy within our congregation and beyond.

EarthCircles Rising. Weekly checklists of actions taken are easy to submit: use the interactive website, drop off your forms at the Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions table after services or email your completed actions list to Ed Butterworth. The latter two options enable you to add actions not on the checklist. Make a family submission with young children or help older children submit their own checklist. We gladly accept submissions from college students and young adults who attended UUCF as youth. The data gleaned from your participation helps us plan future actions and education programs at UUCF that are meaningful to you and your family.

Pastoral Care Associates Committee. Looking for congregation members to join the committee this fall. Help care for the spiritual needs of UUCF members and friends experiencing challenge and transition. Application process (with interview) and training session required. Contact Linda Kozloff.
