Food for Others collection
and other ways to get involved
Sat., Jan. 18-Mon., Jan. 20

UUCF is so service-oriented that we've filled all available slots for the Stop Hunger Now and  children's party events on the Weekend of Service. What a wonderful thing!

Other ways to get involved are still available. Our greatest need is your donation of non-perishable food to the Food for Others collection. Stop by anytime between 9 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 18 and 3 p.m. on Mon., Jan. 20, and place your donations in the large bins marked Food for Others in the Sanctuary Commons and the Program Building lobby.
Click here to see a list of current critical needs. Small containers of three to six servings are ideal.

Click here to sign up to make fleece blankets and here to help beautify the UUCF grounds (It's supposed to be warmer that weekend!).

If you are doing other service activities that weekend (like the folks going to legislative day in Richmond), please email Rev. Kären Rasmussen and tell her about your project and how many hours you spent so we can count your hours in our total.
