POP QUIZ
Q&A with a social changemaker
Tyler Merrick
Project 7 makes everyday products that give back to seven areas for good around the globe.
Time for a vacation. Beach or mountains?
I live in a beach town in Southern California and I never grow tired of the beach...so for me I'll still pick beach for vacation but summer in the Mountains is a treat...like a beach on Lake Tahoe.
Who is your social enterprise "crush" of the moment?
I really love Krochet Kids and 31 bits - they are humble and authentic in their approach and mission. They both are creating jobs for people that need them while creating a great product that customers here and elsewhere
like to buy.
What is your favorite magazine or blog?
Fast company is tough to beat because I feel like page for page they hit it out of the park... you can spend hours with that magazine and only have gotten halfway through. I'm a packaging guy, so I love The Dieline as well.
Fill in the blank: I'd get arrested protesting ____.
Freedom of religion, human life, human trafficking, inalienable rights.
