NPR/FRONTLINE Investigation: The Business of Disaster
When disaster strikes, who profits? For the past year, PBS's FRONTLINE and NPR have been investigating the answer to that question, focusing on the insurance companies that profited in the wake of Superstorm Sandy and the government agencies that were supposed to help people rebuild.
Beginning today, NPR will broadcast several segments, with an extended report coming this afternoon on All Things Considered. Tonight's FRONTLINE is an hour-long documentary, The Business of Disaster, airing on OETA at 9 p.m., and be on the lookout for a virtual reality film coming to Facebook.
