Join NPR News for an in-depth special on the pending agreement between Iran and western powers dealing with that country's nuclear ambitions. The Iran Nuclear Deal, hosted by NPR's Steve Inskeep, examines how this nuclear agreement came to be, the heated debate in Washington, and how the deal could play out in the Middle East in a time of historic upheaval. StateImpact Oklahoma Chosen For NPR Collaboration
StateImpact Oklahoma NPR has announced a new collaborative reporting effort with selected local stations focused on energy and environmental coverage. StateImpact Oklahoma, the statewide reporting project led by KGOU, was chosen because of its reporters' excellent work covering such topics as oilfield-related earthquakes and water issues. This StateImpact report was broadcast nationwide yesterday on All Things Considered. NPR Ombudsman Elizabeth Jensen has more about the collaboration in her column this week.
Morning Edition's Third Book Club Selection: Fates and Furies

Intelligence Squared U.S. Begins New Season Sept. 27
Intelligence Squared Debates Intelligence Squared U.S. is back in September with all new one-hour radio debates. In each of the seven new shows, a knowledgeable panel of debaters tackles a topic taken from recent headlines.

The first question up for debate is "Should courts or campuses decide sexual assault cases?" High-profile cases have recently put campus sexual assault in the spotlight, but why are such cases being handled by campuses at all? Hear the two sides head-to-head in Oxford-style debate on KGOU's Sunday Radio Matinee on Sept. 27 at noon.
