As the school year kicks off we revisit the theme 'What I did this summer', public radio-style: NPR's new CEO Jarl Mohn embarked on the "Low and Slow Tour", flying cross-country with a pilot/friend to visit with staff at a few NPR member stations and get a feel for the local station side of life.
NPR London-based foreign correspondent Ari Shapiro contributed to coverage of the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WWI, and documents all his travels in his Ari Abroad Tumblr. Hope you've had some adventures this summer also. Read on for KGOU programs as we end the summer season. Thanks for subscribing to the KGOU e-Newsletter. Send feedback to the editor at membership@kgou.org.
All the best, Laura Knoll Membership Director KGOU |
