StoryCorps Shares Stories from Military Voices
 For more than a decade, 2.4 million men and women have served in Iraq and Afghanistan while millions of families have stood behind them at home. This Memorial Day weekend, StoryCorps brings us two interviews from the Military Voices Initiative on Weekend Edition Saturday. Hear conversations from Carole Reese telling Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden about being a military spouse while her husband was overseas. And Melissa Meadows interviews her husband, Staff Sgt. Jonathan Meadows, about his deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and how his PTSD and traumatic brain injury affected their lives. Weekend Edition Saturday airs from 7 - 9 a.m. on KGOU.

'Jazz in June' Highlights on Memorial Weekend
 A Memorial Day weekend tradition, KGOU recalls the best of the live performances from the previous year's Jazz in June festival. Featured artists are The Duke Robillard Band, Parker Millsap, jazz guitar from Fareed Haque and Math Games!, and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Tune in Sunday, May 25 from 1 - 4 p.m. for highlights of the 2013 Jazz in June festival. More photos on our Special Programs page. Krista Tippett's OKC Visit Broadcast June 2
 A "packed house" heard Krista Tippett, creator and host of American Public Media's On Being, when she spoke in Oklahoma City on April 8. KGOU brings you her thoughts on "The Adventure of Civility" on Oklahoma Voices on Monday, June 2 at 11 a.m. Krista was very impressed with the audience in attendance, and said it was one of the best conversations she's had with listeners! From NPR HQ: New CEO, More Budget Cuts
 The NPR Board of Directors has selected Jarl Mohn to serve as President and CEO, effective July 1. Jarl (pronounced "Yarl" for those of us who need to know these things) has had a lifelong career in media and a deep commitment to the public radio system. Get more details on Mohn's long career and his outlook for the future of NPR in media correspondent David Folkenflik's report. NPR also announced last week that it is canceling Tell Me More, a program not aired on KGOU, and eliminating 28 positions as part of a larger effort to end the network's persistent budget deficits.
