The due diligence tests at the proposed new SIJNY Center are going well Alhamdulillah, and we are progressing rapidly towards the closing of the property.
We are scheduled to close on the property in September, subject to availability of funds. Alhamdulillah we have enjoyed tremendous support and pledges towards the project, with donations, pledges and loans amounting to $3.2 million having been received. We thank the community for your overwhelming support.
In order to be able to close on the property next month, we need to collect all pledges by the end of August. Additionally, we also need to collect an additional $1 million to meet the project cost of $4.2 million. The seller does have additional bids on the property, so it is essential for us to complete this purchase in the time allocated.
We therefore humbly request you to please fulfill your pledges at your earliest opportunity, and we also ask for any members who have not pledged any financial support to step up to the appeal. We are requesting each and every family to contribute at least $1,000 as this project is for all of us, and we are each responsible in making this project a reality.
