We are sad to inform you of the demise of Marhuma Fatma bai Akber Habib who passed away this morning Sunday August 14, 2016 in New York.
Namaze Janaza will be held tomorrow Monday August 15, 2016 at Al-Husseini Madressa immediately afer Zohrain prayers. Thereafter, burial at Washington Memorial Park in Long Island.
The Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Akber Cassamali Habib, mother of Br. Inayat Habib (NY), Sis. Dilshad Mussawi (NY), Sis. Farha Kassam (FL), and mother-in-law of Sis. Ruhiya Habib (NY).
The Marhuma was also the grandmother of Shamim Ladak (NY), Aziza Alloo (NY), Zainab Versi (Canada), Zahira Dewji (UK), Aiman Daudally (FL), Sarah Hirji (UK), Zahra Kassam (FL), Ali Kassam (FL), Mahdi Kassam (FL), Sophia Dharsee (FL), Fursiya Jivraj (FL), Alina Hussain (MA), and Zahida Nazarali (Canada)
Mo'mineen are requested to remember the Marhuma with Sura-e-Fateha and Namaz-e-Wahshat/Hadiyye-Mayyit.
Namaz-e-Wahshat:
In the first Raka'at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Ayatul Kursi should be recited once and in the second Raka'at, Surah al-Qadr should be recited 10 times after Surah-al-Hamd.
Namaz-e-Haddiye Mayyit:
In the first Raka'at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Surah Qadr should be recited. In the second Raka'at, after Surah al-Hamd recite Surah Kawther.
