Death Announcement - 5/2/16

إنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

We are sad to inform you of the demise of Marhuma Rukiyabai MohamedHusein Gangji who passed away in London and will be buried tomorrow Tuesday May 3, 2016.

Marhuma was the mother of Sakina Habib of Seattle, Tahera Rawji of Vancouver,

Multuzar Gangji of Dar-es-Salaam, Abdul Gangji of Dar-es-Salaam and Shamim Ismail of London and aunt of Nassir Kermali (NY).

Mo'mineen are requested to remember the Marhuma with Sura-e-Fateha and Namaz-e-Wahshat/Hadiyye-Mayyit.

Namaz-e-Wahshat:

In the first Raka'at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Ayatul Kursi should be recited once and in the second Raka'at, Surah al-Qadr should be recited 10 times after Surah-al-Hamd.

Namaz-e-Haddiye Mayyit:

In the first Raka'at, after reciting Surah al-Hamd, Surah Qadr should be recited. In the second Raka'at, after Surah al-Hamd recite Surah Kawther.
