Founder's Day Open House
This year we're combining our birthday celebration, with our annual open house.  Come and visit this year's and next year's classes (or any class you'd like to see) and enjoy the Founder's Day celebration with it's all-school performance, art exhibit and lunch!  And, cake!  It's Mrs. Ros' 115th birthday and we're pretty sure she'd like this party.
Come and enjoy and stay for lunch! Bring the family, too.  Grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and pesky neighbor children. Everyone welcome.

Second Grade Cabal Plans Rain Dance
Wear Turquoise on Friday, January 31st!
Rowan, pictured far left below, shared rain dance traditions with his class this week.  The students quickly proposed that the entire school participate in our rain dance.  Turquoise is considered to be the sky stone in Native American lore, worn by those who wish to call on the spirits of the sky. We hope a turquoise dress or t-shirt will be close enough!  If you don't have any turquoise at home-don't worry. We'll have a bit of the blue for everyone. Sorry for the short notice, but if it rains this weekend, we want it to be thanks to us!

Cruz, Amit, and Rowan visit the office to finalize plans for "Turquoise Day."
