Congratulations to the School Choir
Congratulations to the members of the Saint Patrick Catholic School Choir who recently participated in the Commencement Bay Regional Middle School and High School Choral Festival. The Choir received the highest possible rating of "Superior" from all judges, and received several ovations from the audience throughout their program, including the only standing ovation of the morning. Parishioner of Interest: Arin G
Arin G., a young parishioner at Saint Patrick Catholic Church and her friend Ava G. will lead their fellow students from Lowell Elementary on a 3.7-mile trek around Wright Park on May 20, 2016 to simulate the average distance African children walk to get their water. The students set up an online donation site with a nonprofit called Charity Water. The aim is to raise $10,000, which will fund building a well for a needy village somewhere in the Third World. At a recent meeting of the Pierce County Deanery Council, the Pastors of the Deanery entered into a partnership with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity to fund, build, and dedicate a house to Pope Francis in honor of his Jubilee Year of Mercy. This commitment provides every Catholic in the county with an opportunity to participate as their abilities and time permits. Read More

Reserve Your Lab Seat!
The Mad Scientists are at it again. Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a collaboration between Saint Patrick Catholic Church and St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Send your Young Scientist in Training to SonSpark Labs VBS, 9 A.M. - 12 P.M., June 27 - July 1, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo. The parishes alternate the location of the program. The 2017 VBS program will be at Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
The Mad Scientists need Scientist Assistants to asisst in the SonSpark Lab. Mad Scientists with labs full of Young Scientists in Training need Scientist Assistants- lots of them. Join the SonSpark Lab team and help us form Young Scientists in Training into future Mad Scientists.
