The Cornerstone
Dear Parishioners and Friends of Saint Patrick Catholic Church,

Each year at this time, we pause and consider all the good that is done because we give: the homeless are sheltered; retired priests and nuns and the elderly are cared for; our seminarians are prepared for future ministry, and so much more. Great things are accomplished in the name of Jesus. Please join your fellow parishioners in support of the Catholic Church of Western Washington by giving to the 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal Campaign.

We have two goals for Saint Patrick Catholic Church this year: (1) to exceed our monetary goal of $118,416 and (2) to increase the number of contributors by 5% (from 434 to 456). The support of every parishioner is crucial to the success of the Archdiocese and its many ministries and services.

If you gave last year, thank you. If possible, would you consider increasing your gift by 5%? If you're a first time giver, I ask you to please prayerfully consider an appropriate gift for your circumstances. The average gift in the Archdiocese was $354.  Another way to view your gift is to consider donating a dollar a day- $365. If you are unable to contribute financially the form allows you to respond with a pledge of prayer for the success of the 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal.

You can make your contribution in several ways:
  • mail in the pledge card
  • drop the pledge card in the collection basket at Mass
  • online
Every gift will make a difference, both at Saint Patrick and throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle. Donations made above our goal will be used to ensure All Are Welcome at Saint Patrick by improving handicap accessibility with two additional handicap door openers for one door entering the church and the door to the ground floor entrance by the elevator.

Together we will continue to accomplish great things in the name of our Lord and His people in Western Washington.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Kevin Lovejoy
Pastoral Coordinator

Annual Catholic Appeal 2016 officially kicks off this weekend at Saint Patrick Catholic Church.  At each Mass, parishioner Gary FitzGerald will share his compelling witness story about why he supports the ACA and why every Catholic should too.

Discerning your gift and making your pledge now will save the parish the costs of follow-up mailings.

Let's pray together on May 5, 2016 at 8:45 A.M. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church and celebrate May Crowning with an all school Mass.

Planned Giving is a method of supporting Saint Patrick Catholic Church & School that enables a donor to make larger gifts than they could make from their income. The benefits of funding a planned gift can make this type of charitable giving very valuable to both parties.

Pastoral Council Elections will be held during all Masses the weekend of May 21 - 22, 2016 to fill the postions left open by the five of the nine Pastoral Council members rotating off.  Several parishioners have expressed a desire to serve in this increasingly important role for our parish.

The deadline for submitting your name as a candidate is Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Please e-mail a photograph and a one paragraph biography and statement of interest to the Pastoral Council

Thank you for listening to the call to serve our parish community.
