The Cornerstone
Dear Friends,

Welcome to the second edition of the Cornerstone. Missed the first issue?  Find it in the archives.

Did you know that we archive homilies and bulletins too?  Loved this weekend's homily so much you wanted to hear it again?  Wished you could share it with a friend? You can!  Saint Patrick Catholic Church has entered the digital age with homilies on demand.  Homilies are now available on the website for you to listen to again (and again) and listen deeply (and more deeply) each time you hit play.

Unlike the fool described in Deacon Bill's homily on July 19, 2015, social media is a resource when used appropriately. The Pope is on Instagram, Northwest Catholic Magazine is on Twitter, Father Robert Barron on YouTube and The Archdiocese of Seattle on Facebook.

Social media is a great way to keep in touch with at the Parish and on top of happenings in the Catholic world so you can share the Good News with your friends and family.

You can subscribe to Saint Patrick Catholic Church on YouTube for quick and easy access to the weekly homily and follow us on Twitter for breaking news, Instagram for photos and Like us on Facebook for upcoming events.

Most likely you are on one of these social media favorites, just add Saint Patrick Catholic Church using the social media icons at the bottom of the Cornerstone. It is that easy.

Remember, if you have a story to share or an upcoming event for your St. Patrick Parish affiliated organization or ministry, send us the scoop!

The Pierce Deanery Pastoral Planning Process continues with the Pierce Deanery Leader Convocation on January 28, 2016 with each parish inviting 8 - 10 parish leaders to participate in conversations in preparation for the likelihood that our Pierce Deanery will continue to be assigned fewer priests and pastors in the coming years.

Congratulations to Patricia Ottow, parishioner at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. The Seattle Archdiocese Office of Catholic Faith Formation awarded Patricia Ottow catechetical certification in the Archdiocese of Seattle.  The Saint Patrick Catholic Church community is blessed by her faith and witness.
