Get your fill of Arizona sunshine by exploring miles and miles of urban and desert trails on foot or on a rented bicycle from The Bicycle Cellar. Parents who want to be entertained while introducing their children to theatre will love Childsplay, Arizona's professional theatre company for families. Upcoming productions include Girls Who Wear Glasses and The Three Javelinas. 

For full-fledged family fun, head to Arizona Mills and Tempe Marketplace. Both offer an impressive array of shopping, entertainment and restaurants.  

• Arizona Mills is home to more than 175 retailers, restaurants and attractions such as SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium, GameWorks, IMAX Theatre and Rainforest Café. Take a load off and take a ride through the mall on one of "Those Animals," soft and colorful motorized plush animals.

• Tempe Marketplace offers plenty of shopping, but "The District" is a great gathering place with fountains, fireplaces, a Splash Pad for kids, restaurants, movie theaters and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. There's also an As You Wish, where you can paint a pretty piece of pottery.
