More Good Eats in Tempe

Eating out in Tempe has always been a fun and tasty experience and it's getting better all the time.

Postino Annex

There are a host of new restaurants that serve up food with flair in stylish surroundings inside and on inviting patios outside. How about those jalapeno pecan pancakes at the Orange Table or chicken and red velvet waffles at The Normal Diner? What's not to love about the luscious bruschetta at Postino Annex or Neopolitan style pizza perfection at Revo Pizzabar? And then there are those bodacious burgers served with a side of Tempe nostalgia at the Mission @ Minder Binder. These new restaurants will have you salivating from the moment you enter.

Check out our blog for more information about these eateries and even more coming soon to Tempe.

Take a Hike or Ride a Bike

While you're here you will love exploring our city and the surrounding countryside, which in our case is the beautiful Sonoran Desert. Sure, you can take a nice drive, but our lovely weather and desert landscapes are really best experienced on foot or on a bike.

Papago Park

If you love two-wheeling it, Tempe is a perfect fit. We're a Silver-Level Bicycle Friendly Community Award winner with 175 miles of bike paths and trails in our 40-square-mile city. Arizona State University was also named a gold level bicycle friendly university by the League of American Bicyclists in 2014.

You'll find hiking and biking trails along Tempe Town Lake, right in Downtown Tempe. Papago Park, known for its red sandstone formations and desert plants, including the giant saguaro cactus, is another great area for both hiking and biking. Take a leisurely stroll along the winding trails of the Desert Botanical Garden, where more than 50,000 plants from arid regions around the world are showcased in beautiful outdoor exhibits. Explore on your own or take a guided tour.
