Message from the President of ACC
|
Fall 2016 classes started off with a bang on Monday, August 22. Our enrollment has increased by more than 500 hundred students (10%) and contact hours were also up more than 10% from the Fall 2015. We are now providing Dual Credit courses for students at the newly opened Shadow Creek High School in addition to Alvin ISD, Danbury ISD and Pearland ISD schools. We also added a few Saturday classes and Friday evening classes to our schedule which are proving to be popular.
Faculty and staff have been busy ensuring that new students find their way to their classes. This time of year is always special as it is a new beginning for students and employees alike. We embrace the hope that the new semester brings a continued bright future.
Wishing a great semester to all! Fins Up!
| Dr. Christal M. Albrecht
