Greetings! 
Kent District Library is proud of the role we play in our community, whether it's promoting early literacy for the little ones, offering educational and social programs for all ages or even just being a safe place for people to come and explore their interests. We strive to provide comfortable, inviting environments to all, including our staff. KDL was a recipient of the Women's Resource Center Pillar Award, an award given to West Michigan employers who have implemented best practices that empower and support women in their workplaces. Our female leadership; 83 percent of branch managers, 50 percent of the Executive Leadership team and 50 percent of Board of Trustees -- exceeds industry averages. We are honored to receive this award and will continue to make our employees proud to call KDL theirs.
