Winter 2015-16
Share Your Work With the Public!

To support, encourage and foster access to West Michigan talent, Kent District Library has created a Local Indie @ KDL collection to be available at our Cascade Township and Kentwood branches. This collection features donated books, music and films from local independent authors and artists. More information as well as submission forms can be found here.

If you prefer to share your story in an eBook format, we can help you make your writing available to public library patrons through SELF-e. Library Journal will review submissions and choose the best ones to appear in its SELF-e Select eBook collection. In the near future, there will also be a SELF-e collection dedicated to Michigan authors.

 Gale Courses for Writers

These are the types of classes that may cost hundreds of dollars to take from a for-profit company, but they are available for free with your KDL card!
