Greetings!
We have all been there, having just finished a great book only to find yourself at a loss of what to read next. What could compare with what we just read? If you get stuck in a book rut, your knowledgeable Kent District Library librarians and staff are here to help. They have created hundreds of lists based on authors, genres and age groups to help our patrons select the perfect book. There is even a series of lists titled, "If You Like...", that will guide readers based on previously enjoyed titles and authors.
With over 13,000 people (and growing!) signed up so far for the Summer Reading Program, we hope our patrons will turn to these resources for inspiration as they fulfill their reading goals.
We hope to see you soon!

A Hundred Summers by Beatriz Williams - Tumultuous weather mirrors the rising tensions between socialites in the 1930s as former flames cross paths under trying circumstances on the Rhode Island beach scene.
Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll - Crafting a glamorous, successful image after a shocking public humiliation, Ani FaNelli reinvents herself as the woman who has it all. But having it all also includes having a dark secret from her past that threatens to destroy her new cover.

In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume - Judy Blume is back with a new
novel for adults set in the 1950s weaving in real, tragic events from the early days of commercial air travel through three generations of family, friends and acquaintances.

Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee - As one of the most anticipated
releases of the summer, Harper Lee brings us back to Maycomb, twenty years after we first met Scout and her family. Written before To Kill A Mockingbird, this novel will be published as originally written with no revisions.
Live Right And Find Happiness by Dave Barry - For a read guaranteed to make you laugh or at least cringe at our society, Dave Barry's newest book on life lessons and reflections is a sure pick. The vignettes are perfect for those days you know you'll be interrupted.
