Make Time for Music

Singing and dancing to favorite songs or making you own music
provides memory-making family fun and lots of learning opportunities.
Check out The Family Groove at myzazoo.com
for some great ideas on sharing music as a family.

Read it Again and Again and.....

Although repetition is a wonderful way for young children to build language skills, reading the same book over and over again can be tiresome for parents and caregivers.

KDL is pleased to offer Beanstack, a resource that offers
free personalized recommendations for children's books and apps.
Check out this video to see how it works.

Book Review

In I Don't Like Koala by Sean Ferrel, young Adam does not like his new stuffed toy.
In fact, he dislikes Koala so much that he makes several attempts to dispose of
this disturbing toy before learning to accept his cuddly (and slightly creepy) friend.

Our youth librarians don't like Koala either, but we do love this new picture book!
