Flower Power!

Think Spring with this Tulip Name Puzzle from How Wee Learn.
A child's name is one of the first words he or she learns to easily recognize and spell.
This simple craft is a great way to practice fine motor and early literacy skills.

Play - Grow - READ!

KDLville Spotlight

Youth Librarian Shannon Vanderhyde loves this

building blocks table at the Krause Memorial (Rockford) Branch.

"It isn't unusual to see parents and children sitting around it, creating buildings, vehicles, or even robots and using the blocks

helps children practice those small motor skills and strengthen

those finger muscles to get them ready to write!"

Book Review
