Fresh year, resolutions, new goals. We've done some major goal-setting of our own, and it involves developing services and programs that continue to bring people and community partners to our branches, creating young (and thus, life-long) readers, providing resources that stimulate and satisfy curiosity and connecting you with what inspires you.
You can read here about those goals, and about specific plans we have to achieve them in the next two years. As always, let me know what you think.
Finally, at the request of our customers and our municipal partners, and thanks to the generosity of KDL voters, the library will be delivering on our millage promise of offering more convenient hours at all our locations. Starting Monday, January 5, KDL is offering a total of 56.5 more open hours spread across 15 branch locations. The remaining three KDL branches -- Alpine, Caledonia and Spencer townships -- got additional hours in September. Click here to see new hours as of Monday.
