Let's Get Charitable in the New Year
On a temporary basis since 2006, IRA owners have had the ability to exclude up to $100,000 from gross income for distributions paid directly from their IRAs to a qualified charity.  The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 (PATH) is a new law which became effective on December 18th and has made this IRA charitable rollover provision permanent. Toys for Tots
Lommen Abdo closed it's tenth annual Toys for Tots campaign on December 18th and we're happy to report that $781.08 and 55 toys were donated this year.
