Family of Faith Sunday

 

What:  Faith United will be celebrating the start of the new Sunday School year and heralding the arrival of fall by meeting together in exciting new Sunday School classes, celebrating the Eucharist in Worship, and extending the right hand of fellowship with a neighborly cook-out of grilled burgers, brats, hot dogs, and home-made covered dishes and desserts. Drinks provided. Please bring your own table service and a potluck item.
  
When:  This Sunday, September 8th at 9:15 a.m. Sunday School and 10:30 a.m. Worship. 
  
Where:    
  • Children, Pre-K through 6th, meet upstairs in the movie theater for opening and then go to individual classrooms.  
  • Junior and Senior Highs meet in the Youth wing.
  • Faith & Life adult class will meet in the Social Hall, and the topic for September 8 is "The McGuffey Reader:  Do we still think that way, and how would we write the stories now?"
  •   
    Who:   Everybody, their friends, and neighbors.
      
    Why:   To be strengthened in Christ as a family of faith in God's household and to share His love with each other, our friends, and our neighbors in Christian community.
