Backpack Buddies

Every week during the school year, our Backpack Buddies program provides a weekend backpack full of food to children in our neighborhood who receive free lunch and breakfast during the school week. Our partners in distribution are the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center, and The Church of St. Matthew and St. Timothy. Click here to sign up.
Sew and So

Working together with our partner, The Church of St. Matthew and St. Timothy, we create sustainable feminine hygiene kits: in conjunction with the organization Days for Girls, volunteers will be sewing the Days for Girls kit components. We are also knitting for the Shawl Ministry and Seamen's Church Institute. Beginners welcome, as we are happy to teach people how to knit and sew.
