Join the Rodeph Sholom family for a warm, inviting, musical and interactive experience! This Passover celebration is designed to be accessible and sensitive to a variety of needs. The service will be ASL interpreted.

This service is open to the entire community (members and non-members) and all ages are welcome.

Young Families Havdalah and Dinner

 

Saturday, March 16th at 5:00 PM  

 

Havdalah is the ceremony that brings Shabbat to a close.  This week, spend this time with other young families!  We'll have a craft project, a short Havdalah service, and of course, a delicious family dinner. There will be plenty of kid-friendly food, and after dinner we will sing and dance together!

170th Anniversary Celebration  

 

Friday, March 22nd, Erev Shabbat Service

 

Join us for this very special Erev Shabbat Service to commemorate our Congregation's 170th Anniversary!  

 

The ASL interpreted service will feature inspiring words from our Rabbis and joyous music from our Cantors to remind us how special our home has been for generations.  All are invited to attend the 170th Anniversary Oneg Celebration following the service.

Erev Shabbat B'Shir Services will celebrate Israel's 65th birthday through song featuring our Cantors, choirs, and musicians. Throughout the weekend, Professor Paul Liptz, Director of Education at the Anita Saltz International Education Center of the World Union of Progressive Judaism, will share his personal Israel story.  From his arrival in 1967 through celebrating Israel's 65th birthday in 2013, he will speak about the ups and downs of life in Israel and the possibilities that exist for the next 65 years and beyond.
