SLC Background
Hema Quebec SLC Annual Blood Drive tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19th, 9:00 to 17:00. In the gym.
Did you know that your body contains
5 litres of blood? We only want 0.45 L. Come on down...

All you new 18 year olds, you can now drink, vote and give blood! This is your chance to really help someone and show your parents how "mature" you have become. It's easy. Just lay back, plug in your music and relax.

Champlain St-Lawrence take's first place in the Entrepreneurship category at the annual Dawson business case competition.

Champlain - St. Lawrence took first place in the Entrepreneurship category at the annual Dawson business case competition this Sunday!  Gabrielle Morissette, Catherine Bédard and Jérémie Bédard, three PW Sims business students finished first in their category, and Gabrielle Morissette was also nominated for best presenter.  Their presentation was breathtaking, even the judges were speechless at the end of their presentation.

We also want to give a special mention to Alexandra Morin-Arsenault, Justine Audet and Laurence Frascadore,  who took on the challenge of competing in the accounting/finance category in English against some of the biggest CEGEPs in the province.

The Dawson College annual Bilingual Business Administration CASE Competition offers teams from participating CEGEPs across Quebec the opportunity to demonstrate their presentation skills and business acumen by analyzing, assessing and solving a business case.

This one-day event is a great opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a real world situation. They have to demonstrate problem-solving skills and creative execution, all within a limited time frame. Presentations should effectively convey strong technical and communication skills.
TEMPORARY CAFETERIA
As of Monday, today, April 18th until the end of the semester, cafeteria services, including the SLC Bistro, will be relocated in the future multi-functional room on the second floor. It will be accessible by the doors next to room 272 (Student Activities office).

Also the student lounge will no longer be accessible as it will be converted into the temporary student council office.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause the students and staff.
