Comiccon Quebec we can get you a 20% discount on tickets!

This year's edition of Comiccon Quebec will be held at the Centre des Congres on October 17 and 18 (http://www.comicconquebec.com). An arrangement was made with the organizers for St. Lawrence students to get a 20% discount on the price of day tickets and weekend tickets. This should bring down the price of a day ticket to $24.25 and of a weekend ticket to $35.90 including taxes and service charges. In order to get the discount, students must contact Isabelle Guy by email by October 1 and let her know what type of ticket they would like to buy.
Tickets must be paid in advance. Students should bring their payment to Isabelle Guy's office (356) by October 1.

This year will be our 10th year participating in the Pentathlon des Neiges. To celebrate our objective we would like to register a record amount of teams representing SLC at the Pentathlon.

All registered SLC students are members of the fitness centre. You must show proof of attending SLC with your OPUS card. You will be asked to show appropriate identification to the security guard, supervisor or any staff member or teacher. If you do not have your OPUS Card with you, you will be asked to leave the fitness centre. For more info on how to obtain an OPUS card, please see Joanne in room 272.

RTC OPUS

If so, your RTC (OPUS) card must be updated confirming your student status to keep paying the student price. 

If you are 19 years old or will be by September 30th, you must:

1) Drop by the reception desk to obtain "une preuve de fréquentaion" proving that you are a registered student as SLC. This  RTC form is to be given to the RTC. 

2) Go to an RTC service centre to have your student status confirmed and they will update your card.

Would you like access to the Library at Université Laval?
In order to have access, you must follow the registration procedures below:
  • Come to the library and fill out a form for the Université Laval Library's Membership.  The form is available at the Library Circulation Desk.
  • Deadline to register will be on Friday, September 25.
  • Membership advantages:    You get the same privileges as the university students, except that you can't borrow more than 5 books at a time.
  • Cost:  $15.00/semester

Loran Scholars are chosen for their character, service and leadership potential. 

Renewable for up to four years, with a total value of up to $100,000, each Loran Award includes an annual stipend of $9,000 and matching tuition waiver, access to funding and internships through our summer program, invitations to annual gatherings and forums, and one-on-one mentorship. It is tenable at any of our 25 partner universities.

The Fall 2015 semester ends on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. All students are expected to be available until the end of the semester. 
In exceptional circumstances (ie: two exams scheduled at the same time, illness, etc.) students may be permitted to write a special exam.
