SLC Défi têtes rasées 2015
On April 23rd, business teacher, Dominic Fournier, accompanied by Anne Breton, Gabrielle Ferland and Ariane Lavoie, three wonderful students who offered to donate their hair for this cause will have their head shaved on stage in the cafeteria. Students must have been accepted in a bachelor degree at l'Université Laval. The school must nominate students (the school can sponsor up to 4 applicants).

First-year CEGEP students may also apply and receive funding for 4 years in universities outside of Québec or receive funding for their second year of CEGEP and three years at university. 

Read other eligibility requirements online. Student must have excellent grades (85% and up) and pursue studies in medicine or health science. $1000 per year for up to 4 years of study. They will also consider your extracurricular activities and community involvement.

Spring Cleaning Spring clean-up! Recycle and Help!

 

April 14 to 16 (Tuesday to Thursday) 11:30 to 13:30, near the Library entrance.

 

Kill two birds with one stone! Bring your old books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, LPs, computers, printers, ink cartridges, and any IT and electronic devices and accessories, wires, and AV equipment.

Volunteers from Signes d'Espoir and/or Eco St. Lo will welcome your old belongings in order to give them a second life or dispose of them properly.

Signes d'Espoir is a Quebec City based volunteer organisation offering work to more than 30 people with hearing impairment or other disabilities.

In 2015, take action for LGBTI Youth!
All young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* & Intersex, LGBTI, people have the right to grow up in safe and welcoming environments, where they can develop their personalities and talents respectfully of their individualities.This right is guaranteed under international human rights law, specifically by the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The National Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT),  will provide an opportunity to collectively amplify the message that what young people really need to be protected from is homo/trans/bi-phobia.

Help, we can help You have academic issues and need information? Do not know whom to ask?
If your teachers do not have the information, students with questions about academics should start with Kiki Papaconstantinou, their Academic Advisor (Room 234). She can directly handle many of the questions (including credit for prior courses, incomplete courses for medical reasons and athletes' absences). In some cases she will refer questions to other staff in Academic Affairs. Josée Guilbault handles non-athletic-related absences, as well as academic appeals and complaints (Room 233). Kiki and Josée may refer some cases, including student concerns regarding cheating and plagiarism to Gordon Brown, Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs (Room 226) or to his administrative assistant for booking an appointment, Lynne Bernier (Room 231).
