On April 23rd, business teacher, Dominic Fournier, accompanied by Anne Breton, Gabrielle Ferland and Ariane Lavoie, three wonderful students who offered to donate their hair for this cause will have their head shaved on stage in the cafeteria. Kill two birds with one stone! Bring your old books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, LPs, computers, printers, ink cartridges, and any IT and electronic devices and accessories, wires, and AV equipment.

Volunteers from Signes d'Espoir and/or Eco St. Lo will welcome your old belongings in order to give them a second life or dispose of them properly.

Signes d'Espoir is a Quebec City based volunteer organisation offering work to more than 30 people with hearing impairment or other disabilities.

All young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* & Intersex, LGBTI, people have the right to grow up in safe and welcoming environments, where they can develop their personalities and talents respectfully of their individualities.This right is guaranteed under international human rights law, specifically by the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The National Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT),  will provide an opportunity to collectively amplify the message that what young people really need to be protected from is homo/trans/bi-phobia.

If your teachers do not have the information, students with questions about academics should start with Kiki Papaconstantinou, their Academic Advisor (Room 234). She can directly handle many of the questions (including credit for prior courses, incomplete courses for medical reasons and athletes' absences). In some cases she will refer questions to other staff in Academic Affairs. Josée Guilbault handles non-athletic-related absences, as well as academic appeals and complaints (Room 233).
