SLC WEDNESDAY MOVIE NIGHT:

Primer
Written and directed by Shane Carruth
Science Fiction, 77 mins, USA, 2004

This week's film screening is a miniature masterpiece: *Primer*,
a 77 minute film made for $7,000 that looks like $17 million. It won the prize for best film at the Sundance Festival in 2003.

The plot is straightforward enough: four young white men,in crisp white shirts and ties, build a time-travel machine. Naturally, they want to manipulate the stock market,
and naturally, things start to go wrong.
