We offer bus transportation to and from the parade. Get a gang together and make a party of it.

For students planning to pursue their studies at l'Université Laval, be sure to check the list of scholarships that are not granted automatically (application required): Click here for list of faculty scholarships.  

 

Highly involved students should look into Laval's scholarship program"Bourses de leadership et développement durable".  

Various sectors are represented: Arts, entrepreneurship, sports, humanitarian, social and environment. You must apply for this scholarship before March 15. Only students who have submitted their application form for their universiy by March 1 are eligible.

FORCES AVENIR

Are you particularly proud of a project you or a group of students have initiated? Did you take an existing project and push it to a new level? This contest is for you. It recognizes what you do and what impact you have on the community. Arts, entrepreneurship, health, sports, etc. Take a look. Read the profiles of past winners. You might recognize yourself. The official deadline to submit your application online: March 15, 2014. An internal selection process will take place earlier though (even if file is not completed online) since we must select one candidate per category among the three Champlain campuses.

ODYSSEY

Application deadline: February 28

Make an impact, discover, work, and share your culture while gaining bilingual professional experience. Odyssey is a language-assistant program. Under the supervision of a teacher, your role will be to encourage students to improve their knowledge of the English language and its associated cultures and to use the language on a daily basis. You will leave your home province or territory to work in a rural or suburban area in another province.

Important SCHOOL CLOSING PROCEDURES

Should there be a school closing, the following procedures have been set into place to keep students informed:
1) The announcement will be inserted on the SLC webpage;
2) An automatic MIO will be sent to all with the school closing information;
3) Radio stations will be advised.
 
If nothing is on the website, the school remains open.
