You can express yourself through the creative process, in the format of your choice: photography, painting/drawing, video, performing arts, literature, etc. The first meeting will be held on Feb 5th from 13:05 to 13:55, room 346A.

Marathon d'écriture intercollégial 

Vous êtes les candidats parfaits pour participer au Marathon d'écriture. Il s'agit d'une expérience unique d'écriture qui s'étend sur 24 heures. Au programme, ateliers de création avec des auteurs connus, concours littéraire et rencontres avec d'autres cégépiens.

 

L'événement aura lieu au Cégep Garneau le vendredi 28 février et samedi 1er mars. Un transport sera organisé avec les cégeps de la région.

The English Peer Tutor Drop-in Service will be open for business for the winter semester February 11 and February 13 from 12:10 until 13:55 in room 340. This service will be offered until the week preceding final exams. Students are seen on a strictly first come first served basis.

What is Open Mic? Performers sign up in room 272 (student activities) and perform during showtime for a maximum of 10 minutes. You can perform anything you want: Songs, monologues, poetry, music...you name it!

Jeunes Explorateurs d'un jour
Spend a day with someone who is doing the job you would like to do one day.

St. Lawrence is taking part in Jeunes Explorateur d'un jour and you can sign up for a job-shadowing event. You have up until January 30 to register  for one of the two job-shadowing days (February 20 for the health sector and April 10 for the other fields). This activity has been approved by the College. You are responsible for advising your teachers of your absence and you will have to make the necessary arrangements for your class. *Involvement in voluntary humanitarian work.
*Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
*Undergraduates studying towards their first university degree or diploma at a Canadian post-secondary institution in Canada.
*Maintain a satisfactory academic standing and continued involvement in voluntary humanitarian and community work.
Students are eligible to receive the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award until they have received their first university degree (for a maximum of four years), provided they have maintained a standard of humanitarian work and personal conduct which, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, justifies the award.
  
50 scholarships of $500
