PEER TUTOR DROP-IN SERVICES
Tutor A+ The English Peer Tutor Drop-in Service will be open for business for the winter semester February 11 and February 13th from 12h10 until 13h55 in room 340. This service will be offered until the week preceding final exams. Students are seen on a strictly first come first served basis.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE WINTER 2014
Thursday evenings beginning January 30th.  

 

 

The Ultimate Frisbee activity will again be offered this winter.
Thursdays at Stade Telus, Laval University.

Due to the large number of registrations, there will be two groups playing between 19:30 and 22:00. (The schedule will be established the first week of activities.)

The activity will begin on January 30th for a period of 12 weeks ending April 17.

The cost will be $38/participant.
To register, please come to room 272.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR OPEN HOUSE
Open House Wednesday, January 22, 2014
If you like meeting people and helping out, we would love to have you on board! We need volunteers to answer questions, talk about their experience and show visitors around.

Parents and future students will be with us from 18:30 to 21:00. We will be meeting a bit earlier to go over the various tasks and will make sure you don't go hungry! As usual, we will have a pizza dinner for our volunteers.

Open Mic OPEN MIC NIGHT!
Thursday, January 30th  at 19:30 in the cafeteria.
 
What is Open Mic? Performers sign up in room 272 (student activities) and perform during showtime for a maximum of 10 minutes. You can perform anything you want: Songs, monologues, poetry, music...you name it!
Open Mic is like an easygoing coffee shop where students, teachers and staff live out their performance fantasies! It is open to all.

Jeunes Explorateurs d'un jour

Spend a day with someone who is doing the job you would like to do one day.
St. Lawrence is taking part in Jeunes Explorateur d'un jour and you can sign up for a job-shadowing event. You have up until January 30 to register  for one of the two job-shadowing days (February 20 for the health sector and April 10 for the other fields). This activity has been approved by the College. You are responsible for advisng your teachers of your absence and you will have to make the necessary arrangements for your class. Contact Nicole Anne Daigle to obtain your password to create your account.

Dental Aptitude Test

  

If you are applying to dental schools this year, you should know about the Dental Aptitude Test:
Students applying to dentistry programs in Québec this year should be aware that some universities will require that you take the Dental Aptitude Test before submitting an application. There is only one testdate left in February. The deadline for the February test date is January 15.
