Workshop for 603-101-MQ: Introduction to College English
Tutor A+

This semester, the English Department is again offering a special workshop for students taking the course 603-101-MQ: Introduction to College English. The purpose of this workshop is to focus on grammar and writing skills more exclusively than in the students' regular English course, where a great deal of time is devoted to literature. The teacher will present the essential elements of English grammar in a very structured way, and he will help students individually with their written assignments for any of their courses at St. Lawrence. Students who enroll in this workshop will be required to attend one 100-minute class every week on either Tuesday or Thursday, from 12:10 to 13:50, until the end of the semester. Students interested in signing up for this workshop should come and see John Whitt in his office (334) or email him (jwhitt@slc.qc.ca) as soon as possible, preferably during the first week of classes, but by August 30th at the latest.
