Are you new to SVCC or have you been attending for a while and want to get more involved?  You can make a difference in one or more of these areas of ministry.

Nursery Volunteers 
If you use the Nursery, please sign up to volunteer at least 1 Sunday per month.  We must have 2 adults in the Nursery every Sunday.  Don't forget to pick up your pager when you sign in your child.  Click here for the current Nursery Schedule:
 
Children's Ministry Volunteers   
If your child attends Critter Country, Adventure Land, or DASH please sign up to volunteer at least 1 Sunday per month.
 
Even if you feel you are not qualified to lead our children, the Children's Leaders need your support and help with crafts and general supervision.
 
Please note:  Snacks are no longer allowed in the Children's Classrooms.

Critter Country Needs new or gently used toys appropriate for 3/4/5 year olds.  If you have questions, please see Lupita or Shiela.           

Get Involved!
The Children's Ministry Leaders have given their time and energy to make sure our children have a firm foundation in faith.  Please contact the leader in your child's area to be placed on the volunteer rotation.

SHARING OUR CHURCH SPACE 
We are sharing our building with another church who is saving for their own building.  Please be mindful of them if you are coming and going on Friday night, Saturday or Sunday night. 
 
WORSHIP AND STUDY WEDNESDAYS
Next Worship Wednesday will be 9/14 and Pastor Jerel will be teaching on "End Times".   Please join us at 7PM at SVCC.   

Women's Bible Study - Sunday Mornings 
''The Book of Genesis'' will start on 9/11. We will be in the  DASH room 9am to 10:15am. Please contact and get a study book from Kay, Sheila or Michele.

Young Adults Ministry - Tuesdays 7 - 8PM
Please join us for study and worship at SVCC on Tuesday nights.
   

MPORTANT - SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE   
We will be staying with only 1 service a week for the time being.  Please join us at 10:30. 
   
CHURCH OFFICE  
The office is staffed by volunteers to answer phones and make contact with attendees. If you can help us with office staffing please contact Pastor Jerel.

SVCC INTRODUCES A NEW WAY TO GIVE! 
We're so excited to roll out our new electronic Tithes and Offerings option!  After much research, the South Valley Community Church has selected PushPay as our secure, online tool. 

With this tool, you can set up a recurring or one time tithe or donation.  You can even indicate which area of our ministry you would like to designate your offering support.

CHURCH BUILDING REMINDER
The last person leaving the building is responsible for making sure things such as doors locked, space heater is turned off & unplugged, all lights are turned off and the fans/lights in the bathrooms are off as well. If you change the thermostats: PLEASE CHANGE THEM BACK!

NEW WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY SUNDAY - SEPT. 11 
This week we will begin our new Women's Bible Study,
Book of Genesis" in the DASH Room at 9AM.

BIBLE STUDY WEDNESDAY - SEPT. 14 
On Wednesday, 9/14 we will begin an 8-week study on "End Times". Pastor Jerel will lead class from 7-8pm. Worship Wednesday and Dinner will begin October 5th.

Please join us for dinner at 6PM and worship at 7PM.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - SHOE BOX PROJECT 
Each month, we collect items to build a child's shoe box to be shipped somewhere in the world.  Our annual Shoe Box party is in November and great fun for all as we assemble the boxes to be shipped.  Please place your items in the box in the Social Room.  September, we will be collecting clothing;  socks, shoes, hats, t-shirts etc.
