$25 Fee. All materials and instruction provided to create and take home your own miniature terrarium.

Planting in home tunnel entrances | noon - 1:00 pm
No Fee. Sloat Garden Center’s design department will give a short seminar and answer any questions.

January 18th, Saturday

Succulent workshop | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
$25 Fee. We Provide all of the materials and help you plant up a succulent container to take home.

Fixing garden problems without toxics | Noon - 1:00 PM
No Fee. Suzanne Bontempo of the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association (BASMAA) will give a short lecture, answer questions and provide resources.

SF Street Planting | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
No Fee. Want to spruce up your sidewalk with a tree or planting area but don’t know where to start? We are here to help you!

January 19th, Sunday

Kitchen window herb garden workshop | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
$25 Fee. We provide all of the materials and help you plant up a small helb garden for your windowsill to take home.

Welcoming wildlife to your garden | Noon - 1:00 PM
No Fee. If you love birds, butterflies, bees and beneficial insects, here are some ideas to make them want to visit and stay in your garden.

Windy Gardens | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
No Fee. Have a spot that gets blasted by the wind? Come get some ideas that will help you succeed in your garden.

January 20th, Monday

Custom planter workshop | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
$25 Fee. All materials and instruction provided to create and take home your own little custom planter. Your selection for indoors or outdoors.

Planting drought tolerant, ornamental garden spaces | Noon - 1:00 PM
No Fee. Sloat Garden Center’s design department will give a short seminar and answer any questions.

Planting drought tolerant, edible landscaping | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
No Fee. One of our favorite local professional gardeners, John Herbert of Gentle Giant Landscaping will provide a short lecture and answer questions about how to create a food-productive garden even in the dry years!

It’s time to replant your houseplant! | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Bring your plant from home and the staff will help you re-pot it. Purchase material to bring home the leftovers or use just what you need from our stock for a small fee.

January 18th - 19th, Saturday & Sunday

For Kids Only! | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
No fee for children under 18. We provide materials and help each child pot a plant to take home.

January 20th, Monday
