New Courses in Global Health Offered Fall 2013   
 
In Fall 2013, the Duke Global Health Institute will offer a brand new collection of global health courses on topics ranging from global health policy and mental health to non-communicable diseases. In particular, "Fundamentals of Global Health" (GLHLTH 101) with Professor of the Practice David Boyd will serve as the gateway course for undergraduate students interested in pursuing the new global health major or minor. Join us at this Thursday's Global Health Major and Minor Information Session to learn more.

Duke to Host SEAD Summit on Innovations in Global Health            

This Friday, April 5, The Fuqua School of Business, along with partners from across the university including the Duke Global Health Institute, will officially launch the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD). The inaugural event, Duke Symposium on Scaling Innovations in Global Health, will take place at the Fuqua School of Business from 1- 5pm. The event is an excellent opportunity for Duke faculty and students to engage and network with leaders and innovators in global health.
