Now Available at the Library!

Thanks to a generous donation by California Genealogical Society (CGS) member Sally Houston, visitors to CGS' library now have free access to the subscription website HistoryGeo.com. If your family tree has early homesteaders, this is the site for you! The interactive map -- with a rich array of tools -- gives you access to records on over 7 million original landowners spread out among 16 of the 23 public land states and Texas.

Next time you're in the CGS library, access HistoryGeo.com via our website's homepage. To get acquainted with the site, watch the First Landowners Project video.
