Sayulita Days are here! Join the celebration of Sayulita at the all-ages nightly carnival in the baseball field. Every year Sayulita Days brings the fair to town with rides, rock- throwing, prizes, taco stands and fair vendors prior to the celebration of Flag Day on February 24th. Interview with G-Love: Performer at
Punta Sayulita Classic

This year's Punta Sayulita Classic is fast approaching on March 7th, 8th and 9th with an exclusive performance by G Love and Special Sauce! In anticipation of their upcoming Sayulita appearance, we touched base with G Love himself to get a bit more insight into what he's been up to lately, what we can expect out of the new album (available April 22, 2014) and what he's looking forward to most during his stay in Sayulita. Turns out this will be his first trip to our little pueblo. And whether or not he shows up with a full entourage of wives and children (oh, yeah...the man can be funny), we know one thing is certain: this surfer is tremendously stoked Sayulita will be his final stop on the first leg of this tour and is more than ready to hit the waves. Keep an eye out for him in the water!

SayulitaLife.com: Have you ever been to Sayulita or this part of Mexico before? How long will you stay?
G-Love: I haven't been down there yet so I'm really looking forward to checking things out!

SayulitaLife.com: Do you surf? If not, will you give it a try while you're in Sayulita?
G-Love: I've been surfing my whole life and I know Sayulita is a world class break so this is about the best gig I could get. Music and a side of surfing. Awww yeah! Read entire interview

On March 19th the Don Pedro's Brissa Mar Palapa will transform into a night from the 1920's in a flapper-style themed event sure to be a crowd pleaser with delicious food, hors d'oeuvres, activities and silent and live auction. What started as a short vacation to Sayulita with husband Leland back in March of 2012 immediately resulted in an intense love affair with the area and a jolt of profound creative inspiration. Read more

Bite This: Pasta Shines at Mangiafuoco

By Ed Schwartz

Mangiafuoco (fire eater), a restaurant on Revolucion, is presently a work in progress. But a good work. The happy news is that the very Italianate dishes are of fine quality fully imbued with Italian soul. The night we were there, the service did not quite cope with the number of people who showed up. That will be fixed; a restaurant can deal with popularity. Read more

Pet of the Week: "Rosita"

Hola! I am Rosita, a 8 month old, mixed breed female dog. I am spayed, vaccinated, shy and non aggressive. I love to go on leash walks and get lots of affection. I am not a barker and am very calm in my kennel. I would love to be in a house with dogs, but it is best if I am not living with cats. I am a medium sized dog with short hair. Let my friends at Sayuitanimals know if I spark your interest! I look forward to meeting you!
