Earlier this week, House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) released his long-awaited plan to reform the federal tax system.  NAR president Steve Brown
expressed the association's strong opposition and extreme disappointment in a statement released shortly after the proposal was unveiled.

NAR's Legislative Policy Team has reviewed the 2,000+ page document to evaluate the potential impact on real estate, both on residential and commercial, contained in the "discussion draft."

 H/SAR COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE DELIVERS FLOWERS TO CARE FACILITIES 
Vivian Cortese-Strano presents flowers at Runnell's Hospital
Isabelle Price, former Weichert Manager accepts flowers at Abingdon Nursing Home.

Volunteers from the H/SAR Community Service Committee delivered flowers from last weeks NJAR Circle of Excellence cocktail reception to two local care facilities, Runnells Hospital and   Abingdon Nursing Home.  Both recipients were thrilled to have a little glimpse of Spring during this cold winter!
  


REALTOR MAGAZINE IS LOOKING FOR NOMINEES FOR THE 2014 GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD    

 

Are you or someone you know doing great work serving the community? REALTORMagazine wants to hear about it!  The Good Neighbor Awards recognize REALTORS� for extraordinary accomplishments in community service.  Good Neighbor Award winners receive $10,000 grants for their charities, as well as national and local publicity for their cause. Winners will also be flown to the National Association of  REALTORS� annual conference where they will receive their award in front of thousands of fellow REALTORS�. Past winners all report that their charity benefited from additional donations and volunteers as a result of the exposure.
